Academic Licensing Program
Virent has developed an academic licensing program intended to encourage further development of renewable technologies and widespread commercial use of our innovative BioForming™ process. The program features a non-exclusive academic license, which allows university researchers to use our technology free of charge for internal, educational and non-commercial research purposes. In exchange, we ask for an option to exclusively license any potential commercial applications stemming from the use of the technology, on terms to be negotiated.
